The Healing Scriptures
| Proverbs 4:20-22 - My son attend to my words, incline thy ear unto my sayings, let them not depart from thine eyes, keep them in the midst of thine heart, for they are life unto those that find them and health to all their flesh. |
| Isaiah 53:5 - He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His stripes we ARE healed. |
| Matthew 8:17 - That it might be fulfilled that which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet saying Himself took our infirmities and bear our sicknesses. |
| I Peter 2:24 - Who His own self bear our sins in His body on the tree, that we being dead to sin should live unto righteousness. By whose stripes ye WERE healed. |
| Psalm 107:20 - He sent His word and healed them and delivered them from their destructions. |

God cannot heal everybody, no more than he can save everybody! God is your healer but you have to do your part. God cannot heal everybody, no more than he can save everybody. To "Everybody," which includes you, God gave freewill; God will not cross that line. If you are born-again, and I hope you are, you will remember that even other people praying for you, even the preacher giving the most touching alter calls, even the things that your mother said had no effect, until YOU decided that you wanted to answer that call on your life. Oh.. you might have been under a miserable conviction of the Holy Spirit, always softly calling to you, but it wasn't until you took that first step, in faith, to reach out to God that He was able to provide you salvation. The word "Salvation" comes to us from the Greek word "sozo" which means salvation, deliverance AND healing. The Bible says in John 3:16 & 17 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be “sozo”. (saved, salvation, deliverance, and healing) You must reach out in faith for your healing, just as you reached out for salvation. You will need to plant, tend, and grow your faith. This happens as you read, study, and meditate in the Word of God. Faith, comes by hearing the Word of God. And being a part of salvation, whereby "confession (speaking) is made unto salvation, so is healing. Confession is made unto healing also. Study on the subject, pray that the Holy Spirit will make you wise in the subject, believe and receive your healing.
